In many modern landscaping schemes planting frequently plays a secondary role to the hard surfacing. Many people do this for low maintenance but with some planning and careful choice of plants low maintenance gardens can still be attractive and colourful.

Today there are thousands of shrubs, perennials, trees and bulbs which will give years of pleasure as they mature and fill your garden.

We can offer a full planting plan with any design and can give instructions on how each plant ahould be cared for. Frequently, we are asked to plant out certain types of garden, e.g. herb gardens, bog gardens, wild gardens, native gardens etc.

An interesting experiment using formal beds but with cottage style planting. At its height this parterre is magnificent.

In this garden we wanted to create several natural planting beds, to break up the garden expanse.
